Mellow Muscle is designed to provide special nutrients required by horses suffering from PSSM. If your horse receives 8 lbs or more of alfalfa products you may wish to use Mellow Muscle for Alfalfa Based diets.
The Mellow Muscle formula provides ample levels of minerals such as magnesium and sulfur along with calcium and phosphorus properly balanced for the type of forage used, either alfalfa or grass based. The higher levels of natural vitamin E and the organic selenium aid in fighting muscle stiffness and tying up. This combination also protects against possible over-supplementation of selenium when fed as directed.
